The awards program, co-organized by Times Conference and Asia Computer Weekly ( ACW ), is designed to recognize the most outstanding products featured in the year's most prestigious IT event in Asia. The ACW Awards 2001 is presented within five categories: Best Hardware System, Best Software Product, Best Digital Imaging Solution, Best E-business Solution and Best Communications Product, judged on their innovation, utility, features, price performance, user friendliness and overall performance. The winners of the Comdex/Asia-ACW Awards 2001 were honored at the Exhibitors' Night/Awards Presentation ceremony held at the Green Atlantic, Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Center on April 11, 2001.
