April 20, 2009 -DataFab Systems Inc. will be introducing new products, featuring biodegradable materials, at 2009 Computex Taipei (June 2-6) in Taipei, Taiwan. Our booth will be located at Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall, Hall 1, Booth # B409 - B414a.
DataFab is going green on product design, materials, and promotion. Efforts are made in every step to ensure products are environmental friendly. At this year's Computex, DataFab will introduce three green card readers, one multiple and two single-slot, with cases made of Polylactic Acid (PLA). These cases will be completely biodegraded in soil. The use of this material is a positive step toward reducing the accumulation of electronic waste, and eliminating the environmental issue caused by an industry, discarding out-dated products or parts at a much faster speed than any others.
In keeping the 3Rs (Recover, Reuse, and Recycle) concept in mind, DataFab also will introduce Thin Clients, a network structure processing data from multiple access ports, equipped with RDP (Remote Desk Top Portable). Thin Clients centralize information management and minimize the possibility of data leaking. It provides significant cost reduction, tight security and efficiency organizations demanded.
In the product line of LCD Display, DataFab will demonstrate 19"and 22"displays.
As the leader in flash card reader industry, DataFab offers extensive product lines accommodating various purposes. For cellular phone market, DataFab will introduce several stylish USB 2.0 readers supporting microSD and/or Memory Stick Micro (M2), in Tiny Series. Card readers supporting Memory Stick-HG (USB 2.0 interface), UDMA modes (1394b interface), and ExpressCard readers and solid-state storage devices (PCI-e interface) will also be showcased.
